Farmers

Farmers know farming best, which is why AIVA works with Canadian farmers to test and validate agtech.

AIVA aligns farmers and innovators to ensure the technologies being created solve real on-farm challenges. We rigorously vet early-stage and market-ready technologies on Canadian farms to help innovators refine their product based on farmer feedback.

AIVA collaborates with two types of farms:

Validation Hubs

Applied innovation and demonstration farms that validate early-stage technologies in AIVA’s Adoption Model.

Farmer Alliance Members

Canadian farmers who pilot and provide structured feedback on market-ready technologies in AIVA’s Validation Model.

Learn About our Farmer Alliance Members

300,000 total acres of farmland
25 Canadian farmers trialling market-ready agtech
63 technologies being considered

Farmer Alliance Members are real Canadian farmers who trial market-ready technologies as early tech adopters, using AIVA’s standardized testing frameworks. The feedback they provide to innovators is key to developing agtech that addresses farmers’ most pressing challenges.

New technologies are bombarding farmers from all angles these days and it is hard to know how to manage all these opportunities. AVIA provides farmers direction, reduces the risk of trying these new innovations on their own operations, and facilitates a network of like-minded farmers to share their experiences.
