AIVA’s Validation Model tests early-stage technologies in real farming environments. This report offers a snapshot of the rigorous testing already underway across the AIVA Network.

AIVA is proud to collaborate with four Validation Hubs across Canada that have already been testing and validating new technologies at scale for years: Area X.O, EMILI, Innovation Farms Ontario, and Olds College. The Innovation in Action report features several projects that have taken place at each site, and you’ll find early results from trials of an autonomous weeding robot and a portable device enabling in-field crop nutrient analysis, along with perspectives on emerging opportunities such as spray drones and monitoring Nitrous Oxide emissions.
